Black Women who Mentor (BWWM) ™

Mentorship Sparks Change—Are You Ready?

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Why Mentorship Matters Now More Than Ever

C.H.A.N.G.E. – Compelling. Hope. And. Nourishing. Generational. Empowerment.

At Purple Sheep Consulting, Black Women Who Mentor (BWWM) is part of the larger We Are H.E.R.™ movement—Healed. Empowered. Resilient. This program was created for Black women and women from underrepresented groups who are ready to lead, pour into others, and still protect their own peace, purpose, and power.

Whether you join us through the self-paced journey or the live cohort Sister Circle, Black Women Who Mentor is designed to help you grow as a mentor, expand your network, and claim your voice in rooms where you’ve too often been unseen.

Why Mentorship Matters Now More Than Ever

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Why Mentorship Matters Now More Than Ever

For many Black women and women of color, the path to leadership is still shaped by:

  • Unequal pay, opportunity gaps, and unpaid emotional labor.
  • Being hypervisible when something goes wrong—and invisible when excellence is on display.
  • Microaggressions, stereotype threat, and “only one” isolation.

Mentorship that understands these realities doesn’t just offer advice—it creates strategy, language, and community so you don’t have to navigate them alone.

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Black Women Who Mentor was created to change how we experience mentorship. Instead of “you’re lucky to be here,” we center:

  • Sisterhood– spaces where your story is honored, not questioned.
  • Affirmation – mentors who see your gifts and speak to your greatness.
  • Accountability – structure and support to move from intention to action.

While the program centers Black women, all races and genders who are committed to equity, representation, and allyship are welcome.

How You Can Experience the Program

How You Can Experience the Program

Black Women Who Mentor: A Bridge to Sisterhood

Self-Paced Journey – move on your own schedule.

Work through guided reflections, Sister Circle prompts, and readings from the Purple Harvest Trilogy at a pace that works for your life and bandwidth. Ideal if you want flexibility with structure, space to process privately, and tools you can return to again and again.

Live Cohort – grow in real time with a Sister Circle.

Walk through a 14-week experience with live sessions, guest speakers, and real-time dialogue. Ideal if you crave community, live interaction, and shared accountability as you evolve your mentorship style, boundaries, and voice.

Both paths are designed to complement each other—same values, different rhythms, so you can choose what fits your season.

What You’ll Gain in Our Program

How You Can Experience the Program

Representation Changes Everything

No matter which path you choose, Black Women Who Mentor supports you in:

  • Mentor Identity – naming your gifts, values, and non-negotiables as a mentor.
  • Career Strategy – learning how to navigate organizations, leadership dynamics, and advancement with intention.
  • Voice & Boundaries – practicing language for advocating for yourself and others without shrinking or over-explaining.
  • Confidence & Clarity – moving from “Am I ready?” to “I am already equipped—and still growing.”
  • Community & Network – connecting with women who understand the journey and are invested in your success.

Representation Changes Everything

How You Can Experience the Program

Representation Changes Everything

When Black women and underrepresented professionals are mentored, sponsored, and seen, entire systems shift.

Black Women Who Mentor exists to:

  • Interrupt the idea that there’s only room for “one of us.”
  • Build a visible pipeline of mentors, sponsors, and leaders of color.
  • Create spaces where we learn, heal, and lead—together.

This isn’t just about today’s mentorship session.
It’s about planting power for tomorrow—one connection, one voice, one legacy at a time.

💜 Certified Mentor of Legacy™

The official digital credential of Black Women Who Mentor™

Graduates of both the Self-Paced Journey and the Live Cohort Sister Circle earn the Certified Mentor of Legacy™, a LinkedIn-ready digital badge and certificate that represent the heart of what mentorship means in our movement.

A Certified Mentor of Legacy™:

  • Affirms the lived experiences of Black women and underrepresented groups
  • Mentors with empathy, confidence, and cultural awareness
  • Uses intentional communication rooted in clarity and integrity
  • Leads in ways that plant belonging, voice, and equity wherever they stand

This isn’t just a badge—it is professional recognition of your growth, your leadership, and the legacy you’re building through mentorship.

🌱 Introducing Rising H.E.R.™

Honored • Empowered • Rising

Black Women Who Mentor™ now extends its mission through Rising H.E.R.™, a youth mentorship pathway designed for girls, teens, and undergraduate women who are discovering their voices, shaping their identities, and preparing to lead.

Rising H.E.R.™ is rooted in the We Are H.E.R.™ values — Healed, Empowered, Resilient — and gives younger members of our community access to identity-affirming mentorship, early leadership development, and intergenerational sisterhood.

This new pathway does not change the Black Women Who Mentor™ program.
Instead, it expands the ecosystem by offering a dedicated space for younger mentees who will one day transition into BWWM.

🌟 What Rising H.E.R.™ Offers

  • Guidance for personal identity, confidence, and emotional awareness
  • Age-appropriate mentorship aligned with the H.E.R.™ values
  • Support for academic and early career exploration
  • A community that reinforces belonging, voice, and purpose
  • A pipeline that intentionally connects girls and young women into BWWM as they grow

If you’re supporting a young girl or student who could benefit from a nurturing community, Rising H.E.R.™ provides the foundation to grow, heal, and rise — all within the same ecosystem that powers BWWM.
