🌸 Black Women Who Mentor – FAQ Hub

The program is open to everyone, with a focus on Black women and underrepresented groups. All genders and races are welcome if committed to mentorship and sisterhood. 

No. Mentors and mentees are matched based on goals, interests, and areas of expertise or growth. 

The live cohort runs for 14 weeks with weekly 90-minute sessions (Mondays, 8:00–9:30 PM EST). Participants should also allow time outside of sessions to connect with their mentor/mentee. 

All participants must purchase the Purple Harvest Trilogy (via Amazon), which serves as the core course material.

Participants are allowed no more than 2 absences to remain in good standing and qualify for graduation and the digital badge. 

Matches are made intentionally based on application responses, personal goals, and areas of expertise or growth. 

Graduates receive a certificate, a digital badge for LinkedIn, and lifelong access to the BWWM sisterhood community. 

Yes. Participation includes a registration fee that covers program access, community events, and resources. (Enrollment & Pricing HERE.) 

Each live cohort requires at least 10 mentor–mentee matches to launch. If fewer are confirmed, your application rolls over to the next session, and you’ll receive a discounted rate as a thank-you.

The self-paced program is fully independent. There are no live sessions or mentor–mentee matches. Participants complete the 14-week curriculum on their own within a 16-week window. 

While structured as a 14-week journey, participants have up to 16 weeks to complete the program. 

Yes. Participants must complete all assignments and submit a recorded presentation at the end of the program for review.

Yes. Once assignments and the presentation are reviewed and approved, participants receive a certificate and a digital badge for LinkedIn. 

Yes. The trilogy is required and must be purchased via Amazon. 

No. The 16-week limit is firm. If the program isn’t completed in time, you’ll need to re-register.
